Install a Profile Design Aerodrink - the easy way.


So you bought the Profile Design Aero Drink System (White)
 and the Profile Design Aero Drink Bracket 2010 Black . Unpacking reveals tons of straps, rubbers and a useless sheet of paper which they call instruction manual with 5 dpi pictures.

Here's a step by step guide on how to install the thing.

Unboxing reveals all kinds of things we don't need.

So let's seperate what's really useful. The bottle, the sponge, bracket, two short velcros and the large one.

You need a 3mm allen key to adjust the bracket to your aero bars. Tighten the screws so the bracket doesn't move.

Insert the main strap.

The bottom straps, which will hold the bracket in place.

Since you have to fiddle a bit, here's a trick. Insert the bottle only halfway, Then push the strap a bit through the hole. Then push the bottle completely in the bracket, while holding the strap with one finger where the hex key shows.

Now you can fix the strap.

Insert the sponge INSIDE the bottle and THEN put the bottle cover on top of it.

I see tons of people with the cover opened, then loosing the sponges during the race while probably wondering why the heck the cover is slashed.

You can still refill while riding like a pro.

Install the bracket to the aero bar - win.
